Biographical
John Allen Chalk has extensive general business and commercial litigation experience, including employment and restrictive covenant issues. He is an active mediator and arbitrator and represents clients in mediation and arbitration - both domestic and international. Mr. Chalk has obtained large jury verdicts and arbitration awards for his clients. He has also arbitrated many complex disputes involving large claims and counterclaims. Mr. Chalk has assisted clients in obtaining more than U.S.$1 billion in project and corporate fundings, including the structuring, financing, and funding of approximately U.S.$55 million in infrastructure projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan following its independence from the Soviet Union. He represents many post-secondary vocational and career schools and colleges across the U.S. in their regulatory compliance and related business issues.
